Euro 2024 – Outright Predictions

Euro 2024 Predictions/Euro 2024 Tips

Not long to go now until we get the seventeenth edition of the UEFA European Championship underway in Germany, i'm really looking forward to this one and i'll be providing daily betting tips throughout the tournament. We kick off in Munich on Friday 14th June and until then, i've put together some outright bets below for us to get stuck into, with a little explanation regarding the selections. There's some brilliant Euro 2024 odds out there within the football betting market and we've taken a look at various markets in our Euro Tips & Euro Predictions, including an 80/1 & 571/1 longshot, let's take a look:

Main Outright Bet:

6/1 To Win The Group (Bet365)

  • This one seems straight forward, hence why it's my main outright bet. Germany should fancy their chances of topping the group given their home advantage, whilst England and France are both the betting favourites to win the tournament. Portugal are going under the radar a little bit and should top this group comfortably, whilst Spain look to have the toughest group but impressed me in the qualifiers and should be fighting for top spot.

Group Forecast Betting:

Taking into consideration the above, i've taken a look at the "Group Forecast" betting market on Bet365 for those that want to increase their odds and fancy their chances of calling two teams to qualify out of each group. There's two bets below in this category, the first pays 56/1 whilst the second bet pays a massive 571/1, you'll need a lot to go in your favour for both of these bets but stranger things have happened looking at these sides.

56/1 Group Dual Forecast (Top 2 Teams To Qualify In Any Order)

571/1 Group Forecast (Two Teams To Qualify In A Certain Order)

Player Based Outright Bets:

In this section of the article, we look at three player based bets for Euro 2024. As can be seen below, we've got a 9/1 special on Betfair/Paddy Power, a 12/1 assist bet and then a 30/1 Top Goalscorer four-fold which looks massively overpriced in my opinion, let's get into it.

9/1 OddsOnThat Special (Betfair)

  • Bruno Fernandes managed six goals in Portugal's Qualifying campaign, Portugal have a good chance of progressing into the latter stages of the tournament, meaning more chances for Bruno to find the back of the net. Kai Havertz should get plenty of playing time with Julian Nagelsmann in charge, Havertz ended the Premier League season in decent form, with four goals in his last six games. Patrik Schick played his part in Bayer Leverkusen's historic season, scored five in Euro 2020, should find the net at least once here. We know that Rodri is better known for his all-round play within Midfield but the Man City player will be on penalty taking duty for Spain, a high possibility that he'll get on the scoresheet. Finally, Zeki Amdouni found the net six times in ten qualifiers for Switzerland, should get at least one in this campaign.

12/1 Most Assists (Bet365)

  • Bruno Fernandes provided eight assists in ten qualifying matches, more than any other player during the qualifying campaign. This is a tough market to call, Kevin de Bruyne and Antoine Griezmann get special mentions here but i had to narrow it down to one, Bruno just gets the nod for the way he finished the season as well.

30/1 Top Team Goalscorer (Bet365)

  • Benjamin Sesko looks to be a special talent, linked with plenty of Premier League clubs, the RB Leipzig forward netted fourteen goals in the Bundesliga, along with five goals in Slovenia's qualifiers, two more than Sporar.
  • Patrik Shick makes the list in this one, he tends to be Czech Republic's main man in these tournaments, hoping he can produce again here in Germany.
  • Romelu Lukaku topped the scoring charts in the qualifiers, the Roma striker netted fourteen goals in eight games for Belgium, should be the main man up top for Domenico Tedesco's side.
  • We don't need to say too much about Kylian Mbappe, the Real Madrid striker will be looking to impress in this one and should be up there as the top Goalscorer for the tournament, never mind just for France.

General "Fun" Bets:

To finish off our Outright Betting for Euro 2024, i have put together a couple of "Fun Bets" for the Group Stage fixtures, both of which can be found on Betfair/Paddy Power.

15/2 (At Least 1 Goal In Each Group Stage Game)

80/1 Group Game Wins

  • Of course, this is a tough ask but three teams managed a 100% record in the group stages of Euro 2020, these are the four favourites to win the tournament, at 80/1 it's got to be worth a punt.
